DR. KHOOBEHI: After doing my undergraduate training in Denton, Texas, I went to medical school in St. Louis University, St. Louis. Then I did five years of general surgery and two years of plastic surgery at the Louisiana State University, New Orleans. Then I became Board Certified in general surgery and I'm Board Certified in plastic and constructive surgery. I'm a member of American College of Surgeons, I'm a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and also a member of the American Aesthetic Society.

I also have a teaching faculty at Louisiana State University. I'm a clinical professor of surgery at Louisiana State University. I have residents follow me, I do six months of training with them, and I train the next generation of the plastic surgeons. And that is a privilege to be able to teach new group of the young plastic surgeons.

I do publish papers, I do clinical research, I do go around the world and also the United States, attend all the meetings. My goal is to be trained myself, and also keep myself up to date with the newest technologies, newest treatments, and I don't want my patients to get information from TV shows. I want to be the one that the come to me and I can provide them with the safest and most effective treatments.
